Teachers Notes:
It is so crazy to think that the end of the year is almost upon us. I have enjoyed every minute that I have been blessed with your kids! The busy time is upon us with the end of the year goodies. Please make sure to have your field trip forms turned in by this Friday. Drivers are still needed at this time. Thank you for all that you do and for all your support this year, I would not be able to do what I do without you! If there is anything that I can do for you please do not hesitate to email me and I will get back to you as soon as I am able. Thank you and I hope that you have a wonderful day!

Reading:
In Reading this week we will be talking about How a person's actions change the world. We will be reading about Martin Luther King Jr., Sandra Day O'Connor, and Jackie Robinson. We will be focusing on reading words with the r-controlled vowels er, ir, and ur. Along with words ending in -ed, and -ing. We will be learning about what the difference between a Biography and a Personal Narrative. Along with setting, problem and resolution, verb tense and past verb tense.
In our UFLI we will be learning about words with ie, and igh. Along with au, aw, and augh.
Math:
In Math this week we will continue our exploration of measuring different objects using centimeter cubes and other items. We will be continuing our practice of math facts in timed sheets and center games.
Religion:
In Religion this week we will be finishing up our discussion on how the Holy Spirit helps us pray and begin our discussion on the Followers of Jesus.
Science:
In Science this week we will be learning about light, communication and Engineering.
