Happy Birthday, Grant!!
We had a GREAT time on our field trip - even tough thing didn't go as planned. We made the best of it and enjoyed the ADVENTURE!!
The engine derailed and we walked back part way. This was an adventure we will never forget! Thanks to all for your patience and helping teach our students to make the best of difficult situations.

Important Notes-
Beginning Monday, May 17, masks will no longer be a requirement in our school. It will be optional for staff members and students. If you would like your child to continue wearing a mask, please let his/her teacher know.
COVID UPDATE- We had no cases or quarantines this week.
Masks are no longer required in school. They are now optional.
We will still exclude symptomatic students/staff from school and they must either have an alternative diagnosis from their doctor or a negative covid test or they will be excluded for 10 days. Positive student/staff cases will not be contact traced by the school nurse, only subject to KDHE (which would include the unvaccinated people in the home and whoever the positive case names to KDHE).
Transitional kindergartners will attend the K - 5 field trip on May 18 AND the preschool field trip on May 12.
Mark your calendars - Our class spring program and last day is May 20. Our program is at 10:00 and students will be dismissed for the summer - or if needed they can stay for the remainder of the day. We will not have preschool classed on Friday, May 21. Transitional kindergartners will attend with kindergarten on the last day for K - 5, which is May 21. We dismiss at 1:00 on May 21.
Mark your calendars!! The auction has been moved to July 24. THANK YOU to those who have given cash donations or items. We will continue solicitations and hope to have them done by spring break.

21 – Field Day; Last day, K – 5, Dismiss at 1:00 p.m.; No Uniform Day; Sack Lunch Day
