Christmas Program in the Parking Lot: December 10th

Merry Christmas to all the St. Andrew’s K-5 Families! Many have been wondering about this year’s K-5 Christmas Program. Never Fear, Miss Buller’s here!

Due to everything going on in the world right now, the annual St. Andrew’s Christmas Program format will be changing for 2020! This year the students will be joined in song with their families for the 2020 Parking Lot Christmas Event!

Thursday, December 10, 2020. Bad weather back-up date for Tuesday, December 15, 2020.

7:00 PM

Kindergarten-5th Grade Students are required to wear their Winter Uniform. All students, families, guests, and patrons will need to dress, “Outdoor Event Warm!” Bundle up!

The St. Andrew’s Parish/Sch0ol Parking Lot. For the safety of students, patrons, faculty, and families, we ask that you NOT park in the St. Andrew’s parking lot. We do not want any accidents in the lot.

  • All students will remain within their Family Unit, Social Distancing from other groups in the parking lot.

  • You are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets during The Event.

  • The students will have learned several standard Christmas Carols in Music Class and invite you to sing along with them as a family!

  • The 5th Grade Class will perform the Nativity and the older students will sing during the Nativity as is tradition.

  • Masks will not be required if your student stays with your family, Socially distanced. They will need a mask if they are in the Nativity! Masks may be removed for the Post-Nativity-Photo-Op after the event is over.

  • We plan on ending the evening of praise to the Holy Family with Silent Night.

Mrs. Whitehair, Miss Buller, and Mrs. Anguiano would like to acknowledge that this change is not what everyone would like for a Christmas Program. We want everything to be back to normal too, however, at this time we just have to roll with what is going on! We would like to thank all the families, students, and patrons for being open-minded and flexible during this Christmas Season.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email Miss Buller at sbuller@abileneschools.org. Email is the easiest way to get a hold of Miss Buller as she is a traveling teacher! Your understanding and support during this school year in highly appreciated!

Thank you again and Merry Christmas!
