In Reading this week we will be working on the digraph qu and the sounds they make together. We will also be working on a presentation of a job in the neighborhood. The students are working in groups of 2 to learn about and tell their classmates about a job that one can have. We will be writing sentences and making a picture of what a person in that job may look like.
In Math this week we are going to be continuing our work with word problems and finding the missing number in an addition sentence. We will also be working on number bonds and what each part of the bond means.
In Religion this week we will be talking about the sacrament of Baptism. We will be learning about the Saint Kateri Tekakwitha. She was a young Native American who ended up becoming baptised in the faith.
