
How much is 40?? Kindergartners presented Fr. Peter with bags of 40 items to help him (and them) understand the number 40 better. Fr. Peter turns 40 tomorrow.

Catholic Schools Week begins this Sunday, January 29. After School students and teachers attended the City Council Meeting on Monday where they signed a Proclamation declaring Catholic Schools Week.

Monday – No Uniform Day if you Dress as a Saint
Tuesday – Tops & Bottoms Day - Wear a Favorite Hat and Silly Socks; School Mass, 1:30 p.m.; Building Committee Meeting, 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday - Wear Extra Red, White, and Blue with Your Uniform; School Mass, 2:00 p.m.; Choir, 2:45 – 3:15
Thursday – No Uniform Day if You Dress to Represent a Profession You Admire; Spelling Bee, 1:00 p.m.
Friday – No Uniform, Pajama and Crazy Hair Day; Family Picnic Day, 11:30; Talent Show, 12:15; Bring an Item or $1 for the Food Bank
ALL STUDENTS are invited and encouraged to attend this Sunday, 10:30 mass as we kick off Catholic Schools Week. Students will participate in ministries and some will read their Catholic Schools Week essays. Wear uniforms and sit at the front with our group. Choir members, meet at church at 9:30 to practice.
We will have mass next week on Tuesday at 1:30 (with Bishop Vincke) and Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Please join us if you can. Mass collections in January go to the school auction. Students are encouraged to bring money for mass collections, even if just a coin or two. THANK YOU for teaching your child about the importance of stewardship and helping others.
