Teachers Notes:

Good Morning, I hope that you are having a wonderful day and that you had a great weekend. Thank you for all your help in making the auction a success and for being with us! I will be sending out a Parent-Teacher conference sign-up soon. It is hard to believe that we are already in the month of March. If you have any questions or concerns please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible! Thank you for all that you do and for your continued support and help! Reading:

In Reading this week we will be learning about the vowel sounds of ir, ur, and er; along with the endings -ed, and -ing. We will also be continue to look at Why history is important? Our essential question this week is How can a person's actions change the world? We will be reading about Sandra Day O'Connor, and Jackie Robinson.

Math:

In Math we will be continuing to work on measuring objects and why it is important that when we measure we label what we used to measure and that they are all the same size.

Religion:

In religion this week we will begin our discussion on Lent and Ash Wednesday which starts this week. We will talk about how during lent you can not only give up something but you could instead start to do something that helps to strengthen and grow your relationship with God.

Science:

In Science this week we will continue our discussion on the moon and on shadows. We will also be learning about how the sun changes during the winter and the summer.
