St. Andrew’s Elementary School

You must be 21 to Attend.

Tickets for our Charity Auction will go on sale at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 1st, ONLINE. We'll announce specific dates and times you can purchase tickets IN PERSON this year, so if you want your favorite table, we encourage you to purchase them early. We'll proactively contact those guests we know purchased in-person last year. We aim to serve our community well and be mindful of our volunteers' time.

BUYING TICKETS

Tickets will be sold as single, couple, and 8-Top Tables. You can indicate your zone preference as your meal option this year, and our fabulous volunteer will assign you table. Check out this year's table map to select your favorite zone.

Tables will be assigned on a first purchase/first choice basis in your preferred Zone. Our fabulous volunteers may contact you to confirm your table assignment if an option is unavailable in your select zone. Don't worry-- we have access to where you sat last year. We will work to ensure all our guests feel welcome. If you have any questions-- you can message our team on our Facebook page.

EIGHT-TOP TABLES

For attendees who would like to be GUARANTEED an 8-top table, you must purchase the entire table. This ensures we don't have split tables or hold a table for people who don not end up attending. If you have the means, consider purchasing a table and inviting a couple who has never attended before.

Please coordinate with your friends and family early— as eight tops usually go first! We will update the table map with the last name of attendees, ideally every Friday. Be sure to check our event registration page or this post to see the updated map. Be sure to have email addresses for all attendees in your party when you register. This ensures all attendees can update their contact information and add a payment option before the event and register to bid online.

QUESTIONS

If you have questions— please message us on our Facebook page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't we choose our own tables this year?

Great question. Last year we had issues with people purchasing the same tables because our system takes a few minutes to update. This meant hurt feelings and frustration for those guests who had to move tables. This year, we want to ensure everyone has the same opportunity to buy tickets. The Zone option will allow us to see your preference, look where you've sat in years past, connect with you intentionally, and assign tables that will bless everyone.

When can we buy tickets in person?

Most of our guests prefer to buy tickets online to start bidding on silent auction items as soon as bidding opens. If you'd like to purchase in person, we'll announce the dates soon. Most likely after mass or gatherings, we know a large number of community members are at. We'll also be reaching out to attendees who purchased in person last year. Feel free to message us on Facebook so we can contact you directly.

Can I come to the school, buy my tickets, and pick my table?

Auction is my favorite time of year, as well. I know everyone is eager to select their favorite tables---but the short answer is no. While we can't dissuade you from visiting the school to drop off a check, you will still have to wait until our team member contacts you. This will allow the teachers and staff to focus on what they do best, serving the students of St. Andrew's.

Is my ticket tax-deductible?

Your dinner ticket includes dinner, drinks, and the option to bid generously on a fabulous assortment of LIVE AUCTION items. Your ticket is not considered a donation. However, if you bid over the amount of the value of an item or bid on the item less item, that is considered a tax-deductible donation. Reminder, always check with your financial advisor for your charitable contribution questions.

When will I get my physical tickets?

We've got good news. Once you purchase your tickets, you are in our online system. You can update your bidder profile and update your payment information when the time comes, so you won't need a physical ticket for entry. But we know there are some people who love a good keepsake. We'll have physical tickets with important information about our school available for pick up in April and at Donor's night. If you purchased admission and would love a physical ticket -- please connect with us on Facebook. We'd love to add you to our list.

I would like to give to the auction, is there still time?

Absolutely. We could not put on this auction without our community giving cash and physical items. Our goal is to raise $150,000 which is no small feat during a year where we have been raising funds for the Onward Capital Campaign. This auction directly supports the school's budget--which means it success ensures out tuition remains affordable. To be guarantee inclusion in our auction book, we ask that you give your donation by March 10th.

What is the Golden Ticket?

The Golden Ticket is something new we are trying this year. Only 100 tickets will be sold at $100 each for a chance to win $1,000 cash or their choice of a LIVE Auction item. The winner need not be present to win the cash prize. Attendees who would like to select the LIVE Auction item must purchase a ticket for the Live Auction. The drawing will take place on or before Donor's Night. Some restrictions apply.

Can my children attend the auction?

Unfortunately, no. Our Dinner and Live auction event is reserved for adults over 21. We would encourage families who have helped our school through stewardship or donation to attend our Donor's Night on Friday, April 14th.

I'm just frustrated by these changes. What can I do to be at peace about this?

We have all been there. We have found that thanking God is the easiest way to be blessed and be a blessing to others. Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law."
