Congratulations to winner of the Knights of Columbus Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest! Winners and runners-up in their respective age groups were: Creyton Berns, 1st, Caleb Evans, 2nd; Quinn Dawson, 1st, Ryken Stephens (not pictured), 2nd; Delaila Mendiola 1st, Louise Thomas, 2nd; Roxanna Stephens, 1st, Wren Markley (not pictured), 2nd. Each of these students receives a $25 gift card from the Knights of Columbus. Winning posters were sent on to the state level. Also pictured is Abilene's Grand Knight, Kurt Wassenberg.

On Fridays, students may bring a sack lunch from home or order one from the school kitchen.
Other Notes-
School masses next week are on Tuesday and Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.- Please join us if you can. Collections from school masses in January go to the school auction.
Congratulations to the students who will participate in the school spelling bee on Wednesday, January 28. Grades K - 2 start at 12:45 and grades 3 - 5 follow. Guests are welcome!

Auction News
Raffle ticket packets went home today. Weekly prizes for top sellers will be awarded each Friday until the auction.
A sign-up link is below. We ask that each family try to sign up to help in some way. YOU HELP IS needed and much appreciated!
Friday, February 13 is auction workday. There is no school. The auction is Saturday, February 14 at 6:00 p.m.
Class projects are an important part of our auction. Each student is asked to contribute $5 - $10 toward the class project (or an item in some cases). Send money to your classroom teacher.

THANK YOU to all who participated in the parent survey! Teachers revied the information at their January 2 in-service and will use the information to direct future improvement efforts. We also reviewed student surveys and will use this information as well. Watch for a summary of the surveys coming home via e-mail.
