Wow, it's already December! Happy Advent Season. We are learning that this is a time of preparing our hearts (and our homes) for baby Jesus. What a blessing to have Bishop Vincke say Mass yesterday as we celebrated Saint Andrew's Feast Day!

There are a lot of events coming up in the next couple of weeks:

We are down to about 2 weeks left to make AR goals! I will print and send progress reports home next week but please check in with your child to see if they are reading/taking quizzes. We have a couple who have met goals, a few who are very close and others who have some work to do. Mrs. Whitehair is rewarding anyone who meets their goal with a PJ day/read in.

Thursday (tomorrow) the students are walking to Old Abilene Town to take pictures for the auction....please make sure you've signed and returned the permission form. They may wear no uniform: jeans and "cowboy" or "cowgirl" clothes.

Friday is no uniform day, sack lunch/picnic day.

Our Christmas Program is next Thursday, December 9 at 7:00 at the high school auditorium. Students should arrive at (not before) 6:45. Please have them wear their "Christmas best," school uniforms are fine or other dress clothes. Ms. Buller asks for no shorts or jeans please.

We'll go to the high school to practice that morning, Dec. 9. Please sign the permission form that comes home next week so your child(ren) can go. PLEASE make sure your child has a mask to wear on the bus to and from the high school.

Third and Fourth grades are in charge of Christmas Tiger Day. Please notice the date change to THURSDAY, December 16, starting at 1:00. Please see the sign up below. We appreciate your support! (Thank you to those that have already signed up!)

The third graders had fun creating floats for the parade at our Thanksgiving Dinner. Special thanks to Mrs. Woods and the 2nd graders for letting us join this fun activity!
