Teachers Notes:

Happy February! Reminder that if you can drive your student to Village Manor this Friday please email me by Wednesday at 3:00pm. Thank you for all that you do and for your continued support. Thank you for sending in snacks for the students! I am really proud of all your students hard work and I can't wait to celebrate 100 days of learning with them today! If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to email me and I will get back to you as soon as I am able. Thank you for all that you do and I hope that you have an amazing day!

UFLI:

In UFLI this week we will be learning about open and closed syllables. We will also be learning about two-syllable words with 2 closed syllables.

Reading:

In reading working with the word endings ng and nk. We will also be working on decoding words with open syllables. Lastly we will be talking about art and music in schools. Our question this week is "Why are art and music classes important?"

Math:

In math this week we will be working on our fluency in math facts. We will also be starting our unit on measuring in inches and cm.

Religion:

In religion this week we will be learning about the 10 commandments.

Science:

In Science this week we will be continuing to learn about the movement of he sun and moon. We will also be learning about the moons patterns.
