This week we read about where food comes from - including how milk gets to us from a farm. THANK YOU, Melissa Reed and Hildebrand Dairy, for giving us a virtual tour.
We also got to sample chocolate, root beer, and strawberry milks from the dairy. We voted on our favorite flavor and chocolate and root beer tied! We REALLY enjoyed our visit and the milk was SO YUMMY!! Thank you for the delicious milk, Hildebrand Dairy!

Important Notes-
Miss Rziha will begin on Monday, January 24. She would like to meet parents on Tuesday after school. As you pick your child up, please go to the classroom to meet her. THANKS!
Students are encouraged to read as much as they can at home. We are setting school-wide quarterly goals. Those reaching their goal will enjoy a party at the end of the nine weeks. Goal the first graders is 200 minutes. Please send your reading calendar in on Mondays. I would like to update their reading charts each Monday. Thanks!
Students are encouraged to bring money for mass collections even if just a coin or two. Mass collections in January go to the auction.
Looking Ahead-
Please see the school newsletter for many important dates to add to your calendar!
Have a WONDERFUL weekend!
Mrs. Whitehair
