It's December Already!


Teachers Notes:

Good Morning! I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend! It is hard to believe that we are already in the month of December. Feels like just yesterday We were starting school! Reading:

In reading this week we will be working one decoding words with a long a sound spelled VCe. We will be learning about the genre Drama and what plays look like. We will also be looking at words spelled with an a, al and aw that make the o sound. Some examples would be talk, small, and saw. Lastly we will be talking about the digraph ch and the sounds that it makes.

Math:

In Math this week we will be continuing our work on math facts and understanding the equal sign. We will also be working on place value and how in two digit numbers the first number stands for the groups of tens.

Religion:

In Religion this week we will be talking about lent and the gift of the Eucharist.
