Veterans Day 2025 – Help Us Honor Our Heroes

We’re collecting names and addresses of Veterans who would appreciate receiving a heartfelt letter from our St. Andrew’s School students. If your family has a special connection—such as a grandparent, aunt, uncle, other relative, friend, or neighbor—please share that too, so we can personalize our messages.

While we won’t be hosting a dedicated event this year due to other scheduled activities, there are still meaningful ways to participate:

• Donations for Supplies: Help cover costs for stamps, envelopes, and mailing supplies. Extra funds will support the Honor Flights program.

• Flags of Honor: Purchase a 15" x 10" flag for $10 to honor a VIP Veteran. Flags will have the soldier's name on it and it will be flown at school during Veterans Day week.  Proceeds will go to benefit Honor Flights for Veterans.

• Guest Speaker:  We would like a veteran to come talk with a class of students and answer questions for them.  If you have a family member who is available to be a guest, we will provide a school lunch to welcome them.  Please let me know if you are available the week of Veterans Day to pay us a visit.
