Math
· Compare the length of linking cube sticks to a 5 stick
· Determine which linking cube sticks is longer than or shorter than the other
· Compare the lengths of linking cube sticks to various objects

· Compare using heavier than and lighter than with classroom objects.
Reading wonders
· Essential Question of the week: What are the different sounds we hear?
· Visual Vocabulary: listen, volume, chat, exclaimed, familiar
· Concepts of print, identify words, word building
· Phonemic Awareness: Phoneme blending, isolation, segmentation, Blending words, sound words
· Literature Big book/questions/answers
· Verbs, rhymes, identify sight words, picture sort, syllables
· Independent Writing, presentations, sentences
· Beginning to read books (City Sounds), (Animals sounds on the farm)
