Reading:

In Reading this week we will be working on consonant blends at the beginning of words. We will also be starting our new unit and investigating how do living things grow and change? Our essential question this week is How do animals grow and change? Our academic Vocabulary words this unit are reason, nature, pattern, and notice. We will be working on simple sentences, blending and segmenting words. We will also be reading informational text and talking about what makes a text and informational text.

Math:

In Math this week we will be learning how to add and subtract using a number line for help. We will be doing this in math stories and in number sentences. Some vocabulary that we will be focusing on are minus, unknown, addends, and number path/ number line. We will also be continuing to grow in our fluency in adding numbers between 0-10.

Religion:

In Religion this week we will be continuing our discussion on the gift of God's creation. We will also be focusing on the gift of Virtue.

Science:

In Science this week we will be talking about the characteristics between baby animals and adult animals. We will be talking about how an animal might change as they grow.
