I wanted to pass on a few important notes from our meeting yesterday:
After School will be coming in from recess at 3:30 now instead of 3:45. We are starting more tutoring and need additional time inside. On Fridays, weather permitting, we will stay outside longer. If you pick your child up between 3:30 - 3:45, please come to the front doors now, except on Fridays.
Choir practice is from 2:45 to 3:30 on Wednesdays. Please pick students up from the SCHOOL at 3:30, or they can go to after school until you arrive. If your child did not sign up but would like to participate, please contact Theresa Brierton or the school office.
For the family picnic day this Friday, all-day preschoolers will meet parents in the gym and then go outside for their picnic. All other students will meet their parents on the playground. We will announce names as you arrive at the small south gate.
The church is sponsoring an outdoor movie night this Saturday at 7:30 in the vacant lot next to the church rectory (south of the school playground). Come enjoy this free, family-friendly event. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Drinks and popcorn will be provided.
We would love to organize another Trunk-or-Treat for our students on October 29. If you would like to help organize or provide a trunk. please contact me. Our students and staff LOVED this event last year!
Teachers of younger students are hoping to have some kind of pumpkin experience - either visit a pumpkin patch or have one come to us. We may need lots of drivers to make this happen. This takes the completion of several forms, training, and a background check. If you'd like to be approved to drive for this or any other event this year, please contact the school office for forms.
