This year's Battle of the Book group had their practice battle on Wednesday. Their battle against St. Mary's is next Wednesday, May 4 at 12:30 p.m. Parents are welcome to attend.

The Spring Program is this Thursday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Students should be to the high school at 6:45 dressed in their best uniform. No Shorts, please.
Field Day is Friday, April 29. We will start with sack lunch at the Abilene High School Cowboy Stadium at 11:30. Buses will deliver children to the football field/track. Everyone is asked to clean up your area after lunch. Field day activities will start at 12:30. Students will rotate with their class through several activities around the football field/track. We will end with a victory lap at approximately 2:00. Parents may sign out their child at that time, or send them back to school for the remainder of the day. We will return to school via personal vehicles or walking.
Students are encouraged to bring money for the Monday and Wednesday mass collections, even if just a coin or two. THANK YOU for teaching your child about the importance of stewardship and helping others.
Home Reading Challenge A new party is being planned for the end of the third quarter. Student goals are set by each classroom teacher. Please encourage your child to read (or listen to someone read for younger students). Mrs. Whitehair added an EXTRA challenge. If ALL students reach their goal during any quarter, she will KISS A PIG!! LAST CHANCE!! Let's all make it this quarter - we were SO CLOSE third nine weeks!
