Next Friday is our first official no uniform day. Students are encouraged to bring an item for the Food Bank any time we have a no uniform day.

If you DO NOT want your child to participate in our school safety program, please sign and return the form that is coming home today. An information sheet is attached, and you are welcome to preview lessons on the web site: safersmarterfamilies.org

Grandparent Day is Friday, September 5. This is for students in all day preschool through fifth grade. We will start with a picnic lunch at noon.  A blessing of the new musical garden, Bingo, and mass follow.  Please send an invitation to your child's grandparents. This will be sent via e-mail. A paper copy is also coming home today.

STOCK THE FRIDGE!  Want a fun way to support our teachers and staff?  We’d like to stock the fridge with some of their favorite drinks – diet or regular sodas, unsweetened tea, cold coffee, spring water, flavored water, etc.  What a nice pick-me-up for our awesome teachers and staff members!  Drop off a few cans or bottles anytime!

Teachers will be teaching child safety starting next week. They will use the Safer Smarter Families curriculum recommended by the diocese. Please see the information sheet that was sent home. Return the opt out form only if you DO NOT want your child to participate.

If your child has outgrown his/her orange shirt - please send to school and we will pass on to another student. If you need to order a new one, please get your order in by Sept 1.

Want to order uniform items with the St. Andrew's logo? An order form is coming home today. Watch your e-mail for pictures and prices of items. Orders are due September 5.

Reading logs are being sent home - this is homework for all grades. Please log minutes and return the reading log at the end of each month. This is SO IMPORTANT to help your child develop his/her reading skills! Additional logs are always available in the office, on the web site, or in your child's classroom.

Our annual paper drive in August helps us get off to a good start.  Reams of white or colored paper are appreciated!  Teachers also love cardstock for certain projects.

THANK YOU!!

This statue of Mary was given to us by Shirley Anguiano. We believe it was once in the orphanage or church. Special thanks to Fr. Kade for giving her a beautiful place in our new addition.
