Families are encouraged to make some kind of sacrifice or commitment during lent. One suggestion is to attend mass as a family every weekend - or attend together at your own church. Giving up something or adding more prayer, scripture reading, etc. is also a good idea. We pray that each family can grow in their faith during the coming lenten season. Parents are also welcome to join our lenten study group on Wednesday evenings in the school gym, 5:00 - 6:00. You are also welcome to join us for Stations of the Cross on Fridays that we have school at 12:05.

Congratulations to second graders making their First Reconciliation tomorrow morning. We hope you will always stay close to God through this sacrament! Special thanks to parents, teacher Mrs. Woods, Mrs. Brooks (DRE) and Fr. Peter for preparing them for this day.

Information was sent home about spring pictures. Spring pictures are in clothes of your child's choice. We will also be taking class group pictures, also - next Friday, March 3.

Parent Teacher Conferences are on March 9, 12:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sign-up was sent via e-mail. Call the school office if you have trouble signing up.

We will be providing a free dental screening through KDHE on March 1. If you would like to opt out for your child, please return the opt out form sent home from nurse Carol Whitehair.

We also now have screenings available at the school to test for Influenza A, Influenza B and Covid. This can only be given to your child with written or verbal permission to school nurse, Carol Whitehair.

We will have mass next week on Tuesday and Wednesday at 2:00 p.m., and Stations of the Cross on Fridays that we have school at 12:05 p.m. Please join us if you can. Mass collections in February go to Ronald McDonald House Charities. Students are encouraged to bring money for mass collections, even if just a coin or two.
