CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs. Kristi Anguiano who is being recognized as the Distinguished Teacher of the Year for the Salina Diocese by KAIRS (Kansas Association of Independent and Religious Schools). Kristi has dedicated more than 30 years to Catholic Education at St. Xavier in Junction City and here at St. Andrew's. We are blessed that she has answered God's call to serve the children of our parish and community so faithfully!
Kristi will be recognized this Monday, February 7 in Topeka. THANK YOU, Mrs. Anguiano for your dedicated ministry!
We are OVERWHELMED by the generosity of our community for the upcoming auction!! THANK YOU to all who have contributed so generously this year!! Please continue to pray for a successful outcome next weekend. THANK YOU to the hard-working team of volunteers who have done an amazing job so far, and to the many who have signed up to help this coming week!
WE WILL NEED MANY HELPERS on Sunday, February 13 to clean up the school building so we can have classes on Monday. Clean-up will start at 9:00 a.m. (after 7:30 mass) and continue until approximately 2:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided. PLEASE come for an hour or two if at all possible. The more helpers we have, the sooner everyone can get home to enjoy the rest of their Sunday. We do not want you to miss mass with your family, however, so please come after mass if attending 10:30. THANK YOU!!
Home Reading Challenge A new party is being planned for the end of the third quarter. Student goals are set by each classroom teacher. Please encourage your child to read (or listen to someone read for younger students). Mrs. Whitehair added an EXTRA challenge. If ALL students reach their goal during any quarter, she will KISS A PIG!!
Students are encouraged to bring money for the Monday and Wednesday mass collections, even if just a coin or two. THANK YOU for teaching your child about the importance of stewardship and helping others.
