CONGRATULATIONS!! St Andrews Veteran's Day project for Community Service won the State Award from the Daughters of the American Revolution JAC (Junior American Citizens) contest and has been forwarded to the Division (6 states) which will be judged later this month. Congratulations to fourth grader Ava Straight who placed second in the Daughters of the American Revolution's JAC (Junior American Citizens) Stamp Contest and to fifth grader Brooklyn Sluder who placed second in the Poster Contest. Students in grades 3 - 5 learned about the Santa Fe Trail and participated in this year's DAR Contest. This year's theme was, “The 200th Anniversary of the Santa Fe Trail: Moving the Stars and Stripes Westward”. Special thanks to Cassy Wilson for bringing this fun and educational program to our school!
