  • Wear Friday orange shirts with uniform bottoms.

  • Student admissions - covered by Home & School fee paid at the beginning of the year

  • Cost for adults and non-students - $4.50 if entering with our group and paid for in advance

  • Students may bring a sack lunch or order one from the school kitchen.

  • A zoo map was sent via e-mail or can be downloaded from their web site.

  • For those driving - you do not need to report to school Monday morning.  We will meet at the zoo.  Please wait for the bus.  We must all enter together.  Call the school office on Monday morning if you have any changes to your attendance.

  • Take lunches in as you enter the zoo.  We will have a designated spot to store them.  If you ordered a school lunch, we will deliver these at the zoo right after the program.

  • Our program is 11:00 - 11:30 at Cargill Learning Center - meet in Outdoor Classroom.  Students, staff members, and only one additional adult per family can attend.  They request no additional children. They will not admit late arrivals.

  • Lunch follows the program.  Tables cannot be reserved.  We will most likely have to split up for lunch.

  • Each child will have one experience to choose from - Twiga Giraffe feeding or Stingray Cove feeding.  Children need an adult with a paid $4 ticket to attend their experience.  Parents may purchase their tickets on site, or may send their child with a St. Andrews staff member.  Staff members will be stationed at the giraffe and stingray areas from 12:15 - 1:00 to help with this.

  • There is a chance of severe weather on Monday. We will keep you posted of any changes due to weather.  As of today, we are hopeful that it will hold off until afternoon.

  • The bus will leave the zoo at 1:15. Those driving are welcome to stay longer if you'd like.

Please say a few extra prayers for favorable weather.
