Important Notes-

Thanksgiving Dinner invites went home in backpacks this week. We are limiting to two guests per family (exceptions will be made for families with younger siblings who need to attend with parents). Thanksgiving mass is Tuesday, November 23 at 10:30 a.m. and lunch follows. We will have a Turkey Trot that afternoon and will need drivers to transport children to Eisenhower Park.

YEEEHAW!! We will need a few adults to help with Wild West Pictures of students that we hope to do in November. Please let me know if you can share your talents for this project. “Wild West, 2022” is February 12. Please consider how you can help with this important fundraiser. THANK YOU for sharing your unique gifts and talents!!

We are participating in Giving Tuesday again this year. It is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. We are participating in the Diocesan wide iGive Catholic Campaign. EXCITING NEWS -WE HAVE A $25,000 match from two generous donors. So any amount you give can be matched dollar for dollar up to a total of $25,000 for our school. The funds raised will go toward our Building Addition. Please spread the word and help us turn the $25,000 into $50,000!!

COVID vaccinations for children ages 5 - 11 are now available in our community. This is an optional vaccine - please talk to your health care provider if you have any questions. We will send out any information we receive regarding vaccination clinics in our area. Please continue to be diligent in monitoring your child for symptoms and keep him/her home if ill.

Home Reading Challenge A new party is being planned for the end of the second quarter - it involves a PAJAMA DAY. Student goals are set by each classroom teacher. Please encourage your child to read (or listen to someone read for younger students).Mrs. Whitehair added an EXTRA challenge. If ALL students reach their goal during any quarter, she will KISS A PIG!!

Students are encouraged to bring money for the Monday and Wednesday mass collections, even if just a coin or two. We collected over $215 for Catholic Charities during October. GREAT JOB!! THANK YOU for teaching your child about the importance of stewardship and helping others.
