We enjoyed learning more about Venerable Emil Kapaun on Veterans Day. Thank you to our guest speaker from the Chaplain Emil Kapaun Museum in Pilsen, Melissa Stuchlik! Thanks also to Mrs. Anguiano and JoEllen Whitehair for setting up this speaker!

Please join in praying that this amazing veteran becomes a saint!

Thank you to these awesome veterans who talked to fifth graders about their experiences in the service. Thanks also to Kurt Wassenberg for showing the kids his jeep.

Tuesday - Super Nachos, Refried Beans, Spanish Rice, Salad, Fruit, Milk

Wednesday - Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Cole Slaw, Fruit, Milk

Thursday - Mini Meatball Sub, Fries, Broccoli Florets, Fruit, Milk

Friday - Sack Lunch

On Fridays, students may bring a sack lunch from home or order one from the school kitchen.

Other Notes-

School masses next week are on Tuesday and Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Please join us if you can. Collections from school masses in November go to iGiveCatholic. Bishop Vincke will be here for the Tuesday, 2:00 mass.

Students in grades 3 - 5 will take the IOWA test next week. Please make sure they get plenty of rest and a good breakfast each day. They may bring a healthy snack if they'd like.

Grade 5 goes to STARBASE Monday - finally! Thanks to those who are driving. Students should wear their orange shirt with uniform bottoms. Sack lunches from the school will be provided.

Thanksgiving Meal Reservation Notes went home this week. Please return by Monday, November 17 if you plan to attend. THANKS!

Please watch for a gift card order form coming on Monday. Get your orders in for Christmas and support our technology needs at the same time! Orders are due Thursday, December 4.

Class picture order forms are coming home Monday. These are due on or before class picture day, December 1.
