Important Notes-
We enjoyed our trash bag sales party today. A huge thank you to all for your hard work selling bags. A very special thank you goes out to Kristen McAsey and Ann Strunk for organizing and carrying out this fundraiser.
Flu shots will be given at school on October 29. Please see the flier that is coming home today with instructions for signing your child up for this. Transitional K through grade 5 students, staff members, and substitutes are eligible.
Conference sign-up will go out on Monday. This is on our agenda for in-service.
YEEEHAW!! Thank you to all who attended our auction planning meeting. “Wild West, 2022” is February 12. Please consider how you can help with this important fundraiser. THANK YOU for sharing your unique gifts and talents!!
Update - in cases of illness students may now return to school when fever free for 24 hours with a negative COVID test. Without a COVID test it is still 72 hours.
Thank you to all who are planning to help with driving to STARBASE or the Pumpkin Patch. We are excited to be able to go on field trips again!
Uniform Reminders - Short season is extended due to the hot weather. Red, white, or blue polo shirts should not have logo on them unless it is St. Andrew's logo. No logos are allowed on socks if they are showing. Khaki or blue slacks/shorts should not have large pockets such as cargo pants.
Home Reading Challenge - students reaching their goal will be treated to a POPCORN PARTY at the end of the quarter. Student goals are set by each classroom teacher. Please encourage your child to read (or listen to someone read for younger students).
Students are encouraged to bring money for the Monday and Wednesday mass collections, even if just a coin or two. Mass collections in August go to the Adopt-a-Student Program. THANK YOU for teaching your child about the importance of stewardship and helping others.
God bless your family with a GREAT weekend!
