Congratulations to these fourth and fifth grade students who received either the

Bishop's Star Award (Scored 3 or 4) or the

Bishop's Heart Award (Raised their score from the previous year)

on their state assessments. Several students received multiple awards!

Congratulations and keep up the GREAT work on your assessments!!

THANK YOU to Melissa Reed and her crew at Hildebrand Farm.

We had so much fun learning more about their new robotic milking system!

We also got to sing to Grandma Hildebrand on her 98th birthday!

Thursday - Ham & Beans, Cornbread, Cucumber Slices, Fruit & Milk

Friday - No School

On Fridays, students may bring a sack lunch from home or order one from the school kitchen.

Other Notes-

School masses next week are on Tuesday and Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Please join us if you can. Collections from school masses in November go to iGiveCatholic.

Shorts season is over. Students should wear uniform pants now, or leggings/tights for girls if wearing a skirt.

We will be having several, "Stop and Think Drills" over the remainder of the school year. These drills help students prepare for all kinds of emergency situations. For example, we will have them stop and think during lunch sometime next week to locate all available exits in case of a fire or other emergency.

The Health Council encourages students to participate in the October Fitness Calendar Activity.

OCTOBER FITNESS CALENDAR REWARDS:

1 Bingo = Extra Recess

2 Bingos = Extra Recess, plus a No Uniform Coupon

Blackout = Extra Recess, No Uniform Coupon, plus help plan one lunch menu w/ Miss Lacy.

Complete only one activity per day.

We need donations of diapers to help families in need in our community. Please send any diapers you'd like to donate by Thursday, November 7. We will deliver on Friday. THANKS!!
