Teachers Notes:

Welcome Back! I am so glad to be back and to see all your students again. I have missed them greatly! The auction is coming up I will be sending out more information on the class project soon so please be on the lookout for information on this. Please have all reading logs turned in by Wednesday so that we can all enjoy the reading party on Friday! Thank you for all you do and if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Math:

In Math this week we will be working on math stories for subtraction and addition. We will be continuing to work on counting to 120, and recognizing the numbers.

UFLI:

In UFLI this week we will be reviewing all that we have learned so far this year. This will be the FLSZ rule; digraphs sh, th, wh, ph, ch, ck, ng, nk; and long vowel sounds when the word ends in e.

Reading:

In reading this week we will begin unit 3 where we start talking about fables and poetry. We will also be working on Segmenting and blending sounds, digraphs and trigraphs. We will also talk about singular and plural nouns and review the different types of sentences.

Science:

In science this week we will begin talking about the patterns we see in the sun during the day and during each season. How in the winter we see the sun less than in the summer.

Religion:

This week we will be talking about how God saves his people from pharaoh with the help of Moses.
