Hi All!
As we are heading into the holiday season, I want to send your families good wishes and happy holidays.
It will be quite busy here in the coming weeks and I want to thank you for your continued support.
Here are a few other reminders/updates:
Angel Tree Update:
Angel Tree has begun! We are off to a little bit of a slow start, as of right now, we have earned $122. I always get nervous about this time in the process, but the kids ALWAYS come through in big ways!
Please remember to send in the money as you earn it, so that the kids see how we are progressing. It helps them to see the angel flying higher on the tree.
All money is due Monday, November 28th. (Right after Thanksgiving) ** It is important to get it in that day because I will have to go that evening to get the Angels and I need to know how many to get.
Also, we will go shopping on December 2nd. Here is the tentative itinerary: Things may change due to weather etc.
8:15- Depart St. Andrews
8:45- Meet at Walmart- Market side- Pass out supplies and get into our groups
9:00-10:00- Shopping
10:00- Load up and head to The Salvation Army warehouse
10:30- Drop off items/ quick tour of the Salvation Army
11:00- Lunch- If the weather is nice, we may go to the park otherwise I will make other arrangements.
11:30- Depart for Abilene
12:00-2:00- Help at Neighbor to Neighbor
2:00- Return to school
**reminder- this is a full day and students need to stay for the whole day in order to be counted present.
AR
The last day to earn points at school is December 16. I would not wait that long as the last couple of days is very busy and we don't want to forget.
November:
23-25- Thanksgiving Break
14 - iGiveCatholic Advance Giving Begins
15 – School Council Meeting, 6:30 p.m.
22 – Thanksgiving Mass, Dinner
23 – 25 No School, Thanksgiving Break
28- Angel Tree Money Due
29 - Giving Tuesday, iGiveCatholic
30- St. Andrew Feast Day
Looking Ahead:
December: 2- Angel Tree Shopping in Salina
15- Tiger Day, Christmas Program Rehearsal (during the school day) Christmas Program at 7:00
16- End of 2nd Quarter- Dismiss at 1:00, Last day to get AR points for the quarter.
