4th Grade News
Updated: Oct 10, 2022
We are off to a wonderful start!
Just a few notes:
Picture day Monday, September 19. Bring your best smiles!
4th grade will be going on a field trip to the Dickinson County Historical Society for Heritage Days on September 30th. We will walk there and only be gone in the morning. We will be back by lunch so we don't need drivers
Yesterday, students were sent with a green sheet that gave families "Homework." This is optional, however, we would LOVE to see videos or photos telling why you love St. Andrews!
Homework- Please do not spend more than 30-45 minutes on any homework your child brings home. I try VERY hard to give them time to get it done in class. There are some instances where they need to bring it home. I DO NOT want students to work on it all evening. This is family time for you and your kids to do extracurricular activities. If your child is struggling, send me a note or shoot me an email and I will work with them the next day.
FYI- I work the after school program on Mondays and Wednesdays, if you would like them to stay and get a little extra help. Also, I am willing to work with any student after school on Tuesdays as well. I am only available until 3:45 on Thursdays and most Fridays because of my older kids' activities.
Headphones- Please make sure your child has working set of headphones. I have some that are a couple of years old, students are more than welcome to use them, but they are rapidly falling apart. Thank you so much.
