Homework for first graders comes Monday through Thursday. Please help your child remember to complete this. We will also start keeping track of reading minutes at home. Your child is encouraged to read (or listen to someone read to them) for ten minutes per night. Watch for details coming net week.
Book orders came home last week. Orders can be placed online or by sending payment and order form to school. Students are encouraged to bring money for the Monday and Wednesday mass collections, even if just a coin or two. Mass collections in August go to the Adopt-a-Student Program.
Thursday is library day for our class. Please return library books by Thursday of each week so we can check out new ones. Thanks!
We would love some puzzles, games, toys (such as legos, K-Nex, etc.) for our classroom. If you have any gently used that you'd like to donate, please send for our free time activity center. THANK YOU!! Mrs. Peterson & Mrs. Whitehair
