Teachers Notes:
What an awesome and amazing time that we got to have with our grandparents last Friday! We had so much fun playing BINGO and playing on the new musical playground. As a reminder we have no school mass on Tuesday or Wednesday, and instead have school mass on Thursday. On Thursday we ask that all the students are in uniform for church and that they do not use a no uniform coupon. In each students folder there will be a stapled bag to hold their math flashcards. I hope that this helps to keep the cards from being lost. Thank you for all that you do and if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Saint of the Week:

The Saint of the week this week is Saint Therese of Lisieux. Saint Thérèse of Lisieux is the patron saint of missions and missionaries, the sick (especially those with tuberculosis), florists, pilots, and priests, among others. She is also a patron saint of the state of Alaska and the Archdiocese of Anchorage-Juneau. Her patronage of missions stems from her prayers and letters for the missions despite being a cloistered nun, and her connection to florists is linked to her nickname, the "Little Flower". She is often called “the Little Flower” because she imagined herself as a little flower in God's garden of souls. As she put it, “If every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, spring would lose its loveliness." Therese has been a highly influential model of sanctity for Catholics and for others because of the simplicity and practicality of her approach to the spiritual life.
