Sept. 30 Third Grade Notes
Tomorrow: NO UNIFORM (bring $1 or item); sack lunch day/family picnic day
Students may bring a show & tell item to share with the class. Nothing valuable and it should fit in a backpack.
Thank you for all your help with sending in STREAM supplies. We are SO EXCITED for our activities tomorrow. We appreciated having Kyson Becker and Aaron Hartman (AHS football players) visit our classroom and read to us last week, and look forward to another visit tomorrow. (See picture below.)
-Multiplication Facts (3's & 4's)
-Telling Time (please work on this at home! Students should be able to tell time to the hour, half hour, quarter hour. We're working on telling time to 5 minutes and to the minute.)
We're continuing our study of plants, seeds and life cycles of plants.
PLANT POSTERS are due next MONDAY, Oct. 4.
-apple stream activities: making apple pie, virtual tour of an apple orchard, building a tower strong enough to hold the weight of an apple, apple measurement and taste test graphing activities, apple art
-Essential Question: How do landmarks help us understand our country's story?

-Spelling: long O words: NO TEST THIS WEEK....SAME LIST & TEST NEXT FRIDAY
