Happy New Year! :) I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyable break with your family.
The kiddos have done a good job getting back into the routine.
Friday: no uniform day with $1 or an item for the food bank. Also-sack lunch day but we'll be eating inside due to the weather, so no parents this time. Contact Miss Becky/sign up if you'd like your child to have a school sack lunch. **No spelling test this Friday-we'll take it next week.
Looking ahead to next week: Reading logs due Tuesday. (60 minutes) The kiddos are working on turning in logs each week to earn a pizza from the Book-It program.
We'll be doing some Fastbridge reading and math testing next week. This will be done mostly on ipads. This helps us measure how much the kiddos are improving on their skills throughout the year. We'll do this same testing again at the end of the spring.
HELP NEEDED: I'm asking each student to please bring in 1-2 packs of notecards. The smaller ones are fine, plain white or the ones with lines are fine (no colored ones, please). We need to practice our multiplication facts, so we plan to make some flash cards. Thank you for your help!
