We will also cover fire safety, Internet safety, building intruder safety, and other important topics. I encourage you to talk to your child about what he/she is learning each day. Watch for a parent guide explaining the Child Lures Program.
Looking Ahead-
Parent Teacher Conferences are on Wednesday, October 21 and Thursday, October 22. In order to keep everyone as safe as possible, all conferences this fall will be via ZOOM. Sign up using the link sent via e-mail.
No School on Thursday and Friday, October 22 & 23
We will be having a Halloween Party on Friday, October 30. Students will be allowed to wear costumes to school. No scary or gory costumes, please. Watch for a sign-up link coming home on Monday if you can provide items for our party. THANK YOU!
BROWN BAG UPDATE Watch for a brown paper bag coming home during your child's letter week. Please help your child fill the bag with four or five things that will help us learn more about him/her!
We are continuing our study of the alphabet - especially the sounds of each letter. We will also introduce correct formation of each letter. Each Friday is show and tell for the letter of the week. Your child may bring something that starts with the sound of our letter of the week.
God bless your family with a GREAT weekend!
